Sophie’s bravery doesn’t pay off in the way she had hoped for because the odds are stacked against her. It took her back to the moment the police assaulted her during the protest, so she opts to not go into the station. Regina, Maggie (Allison Miller), and Delilah accompany Sophie, but before going in Regina has a panic attack after bumping into a police officer. With Delilah back, Sophie decides that she is ready to go to the police station to report Peter.

He blames himself for what happened and hasn’t been able to forgive himself ever since.

The series also dealt with the Black Lives Matter movement along with the COVID-19 pandemic. A lot has gone down during the course of the third season, with the main plot revolving around Sophie (Lizzy Greene) dealing with the trauma of her assault. A Million Little ThingsSeason 3 concluded last week leaving us with an O-M-G moment that will have us talking for months.
